Oscar-winning Composer A R Rahman is testing new waters.

He’s all set to turn into an actor in 2026.

Whereas Rahman, who turns 59 on January 6, has made cameo appearances in a number of movies, this shall be his first full-fledged appearing position.

In accordance with a report within the Mid-Day newspaper, Rahman will characteristic within the comedy movie Moonwalk, starring Prabhudeva.

The movie is directed by Manoj N S and options music composed by Rahman.

As per the Mid-Day report, Rahman will painting an ‘indignant movie director’.

 

Talking to the News18 channel, the director shared insights into Rahman’s position within the movie.

‘AR Rahman sir seems all through the track Mayile, including a cute attraction and a really particular vibe to it,’ he’s quoted as saying.

‘Once I later introduced an prolonged position to him after the track, AR Rahman sir graciously accepted it. This shall be a shock scene for film lovers, and I completely loved directing AR Rahman sir in his first ever film scene,’ Manoj stated.

Prabhudeva performs Babootty, a movie choreographer.

Moonwalk is scheduled to launch in theatres in Could.

Rahman and Prabhudeva have collaborated on Gentleman, Kaadhalan, Mr Romeo, Love Birds, and Minsara Kanavu, all remembered for his or her electrifying dance numbers.
