Chennai: A Ph.D scholar from Manonmaniam Sundaranar College refused to obtain her diploma from Tamil Nadu Governor R.N.Ravi through the thirty second convocation held Wednesday.

The incident comes within the backdrop of a unbroken boycott of Governor Ravi’s occasions by Tamil Nadu ministers amid the tussle between the Raj Bhavan and the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)-led authorities.

Later, Jean instructed the media that she declined to get the diploma from Governor Ravi since he was working towards the pursuits of Tamil Nadu and Tamil folks.
