Mumbai: Simply weeks after he rebuked a younger lady IPS officer taking motion in opposition to unlawful sand mining, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has discovered himself within the centre of an issue as soon as once more. The Nationalist Congress Celebration (Ajit Pawar) chief then stated he had rushed to Bhoom-Paranda after receiving details about the scenario. “We will fake about many issues, however it’s troublesome to fake about financial standing,” he instructed the farmers.

Elements of Maharashtra, notably districts in Marathwada, have been reeling below floods since 20 September. Heavy rains and swollen rivers have brought about large-scale harm, claiming at the very least 9 lives. Then in 2013, he had made insensitive remarks a few man on starvation strike demanding launch of water from a dam.

“There’s a particular person from Solapur, on starvation strike for 55 days, demanding water be launched from the dam. However the place are we going to get water from? Ought to we urinate? And when we aren’t getting water to drink, even urine is just not coming simply,” Pawar had stated. He later apologised for “hurting sentiments”.
